World History Summer Class 2010
Hey Guys!! Welcome to World History.
Below you will find everything that you need to successfully complete this course. As you complete each assignment, you can either email the assignments to me or share them with me via Google. We will be using Tokbox to communicate together in a group, but you are also welcome to post comments/questions here, text me (220-6452) or email me (orumichael@hotmail.com) with any questions you may have.
Let's get started!
Meeting Schedule: We will be meeting for 9 weeks over the summer.
We will be meeting each week on Wednesdays from 2-3pm.
Note: We will skip the week of July 7th, due to Departure Youth Summer Camp, and then resume the following week.
In order to complete this course in 9 weeks, you will need to complete 3 Chapters per week. If you desire to work ahead, you may do so.
First Assignment Go to www.tokbox.com and set up an account there. When you have set up your account, play around with the gadgets on it to familiarize yourself with this site. When you have finished, let me know using one of the three preferred methods of communication listed above. When you have finished this step, I will send friend requests to each of you. General Chapter AssignmentFor each chapter, you need to take notes using the Cornell note system. I have included a document/template that you need to use and then either email it to me or share it, using Google docs. These notes need to be sent to me no later than Monday of the following week. You will be using these to study for your tests.
